General Team Rules

League Basics

Attention Captains and Free Agents!

Everyone loves a little competition, but one team dominating a league season after season can spoil the fun for everybody.

If a team retaining more than four to six players (based on the sport’s minimum roster size 6, 10 or 12) has won three championships in consecutive seasons for which they have been registered, that team to will have to form two or more separate teams to promote balance in the league or withdraw their registration (no refund will be issued, league credit will be issued). The River City Sports & Social Club will have the option to, in its discretion, request that team to form two or more separate teams to promote parity in the league or withdraw their registration. The team will then have the opportunity to divide their roster (with no more than four to six retaining players) to form two or more separate teams with each subsequent roster approved by the River City Sports & Social Club.

League Division

Super Social: This division is designed for teams and individuals that love to socialize and have GOOD athletic skills. It's usually the division with the most teams and players. The top 16 or 32 teams have end of season playoff games.

Game Days

Start Tuesday, September 25, 2018 @ the RCSSC Annex at about 6:30pm.

Happy-hour Kick-off

Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from 6-9pm


Teams that forfeit a game without notice, may be fined according to RCSSC rules. Forfeit fines are used to buy bar sponsor voucher for the opposing team. (See RCSSC rules. See Fees below.)

Registration and Fees

EARLY BIRD League Fee of $60 per player are in effect until Shirt Cut-off on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 @ 11:59pm.

Teams and Captains

Returning Captains can register your team and pay your individual player fee online.

Individual/Single Players (Free Agents)

Single Players looking for at team? Register and pay your league fee directly using the link below. We'll place you on a Temporary Singles and them move you to another team before games begin. Just make sure that you fill out the comments section and tell us about your athletic ability so we can match you up with a team of like players. Also let us know if you want to be placed on a team with friend so that we can keep you together. Individual females are highly encouraged to sign-up as there is always a need for additional women on teams.

Base Fees

  • $720.00 is the base league fee for a minimum team of 12 players.

  • $60.00 is added for each player above the minimum 12 players on the roster.

  • $4.00 extra per player for sizes 2XL to 5XL.

  • $6.00 extra per player for Camo shirts (Sand, Green, Blue, Pink or Black). Camo shirts are not available for 2XL and larger.

  • $3.00 extra per player for registrations paid on-line.

  • If you resign (after) Shirt Cut-off you'll be responsible for the $20 Shirt Fee


New Captains and Teams that do not wish to pay online are required to provide a $240.00 deposit in cash or check on Sign-up Night. Checks will be deposited on the Friday after sign-up night. This deposit covers four initial player fees so Captains do not pay online and 3 other players on this team do not pay online.

2018 Fees and Forfeit Policy

With fall sports in 2018, there will no longer be any portion of team fees available to cover forfeit fines.

We ask that all players do their part to support our generous sponsors. Our sponsors contribute a significant portion of our league fees, making it possible for us to keep our per-player cost low.

Teams will no longer pay $50 toward an escrow account to cover forfeit fines. Teams that fail to follow the league rules, which require 24-hour advance notice before forfeiting a game, must pay the forfeit fine beforetheir next game. If a team forfeits the last game of the season without proper notice, no member of that team will be allowed to register for another sport until the forfeit fine is paid.

Players that have not paid their fees will not play even if the team player shows.

Singles/Free Agents

For each individual player assigned to a team by the RCSSC, one player fee will be deducted from the total balance due from the captain on shirt pickup night.
