It goes by many names--flip cup, canoe, taps, flippy cup, but while this drinking game is almost always played with beer, RCSSC co-ed. flip cup can be played with whatever beverage you may wish; Ron Burgundy plays with milk. Regardless of what you fill your cup with, rare is it that this game is not played in a social setting. Even if you've never played flip cup, you've probably been around the game at enough parties to know how it works: drink, flip, and on down the table it goes until one team finishes before the other.

Because the idea of the River City Sport & Social Club is to play sports and be SOCIAL, all teams should patronize one (OR MORE) of RCSSC’s bar sponsors (Home Team Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings, Gus', On The Rox) after each game. These establishments care enough to support RCSSC (YOU), so socially supporting one of our sponsors by having a meal or a few drinks is important. Plus, beer-infused post-game downtime is an essential part of the RCSSC social experience, and these sponsors have been kind enough to offer a player special for all social RCSSC players--as long as they have their team shirts on. Who would say no?
The Super Social division is the only division offered for RCSSC Flip Cup.
Social- NOT OFFERED
Super Social- Although minimal athletic ability is necessary when playing flip cup, you'll still need a steady hand to pour your beverage of choice into a cup and to flip your cup onto its mouth in order for your team to win. Oh, and you'll also need the strength of a 5-month-old to lift the cup to your mouth. Whatever your athletic ability, whether you meet these benchmarks for flip cup or not, bring along a sociable attitude.
