General Broomball Information

RCSSC has co-ed Broomball: A team fields 6 players at a time. At least 2 of the players on the field must be women.

League Divisions

There are 3 divisions of sports.  Not every sport has all 3 divisions.  They are based on "athleticism" and/or a team's "newness" to the league.  ALL TEAMS AND LEAGUES MUST BE SOCIALABLE   :)

Social: NOT OFFERED

Super Social:  This division is designed for teams and players that love to socialize and have LIMITED athletic skills.  It's usually the division with the most teams and players the top 16 teams have end of season playoff games.

Extreme Social:  NOT OFFERED

A team may join any of the league divisions, but teams that are brand new to the league are discouraged against the Social division.  There are no playoffs in the Extreme Social division when ther is also a Social division in that sport.

Broomball Seasons

Spring Season is 7 games starting in late March through May.

Fall Season is 7 games starting mid-September through November.  There are no games the week of Thanksgiving.

Playoffs are 1-2 weeks following the regular season.

Broomball Game Days and Times

Games are played on Wednesdays at 7:00PM, 7:45PM, 8:30PM, 9:15PM & 10PM (if needed)

Playoff Games

Super Social will have playoff games for the top 16 or 32 teams in the league.  Spring playoffs generally end in May before Memorial Day.  Fall playoffs generally end before Christmas.  There are no games during the week of Thanksgiving.
